AFRC Congratulates Mr Eugene Fung SC on New Role

The Judiciary announced the appointment of Mr Eugene Fung Ting-sek, SC, as a Judge of the Court of First Instance of the High Court, with effect from 11 September 2025. Mr Fung has resigned as non-executive director of the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council (AFRC) due to his judicial appointment.

The AFRC would like to extend its deepest gratitude to Mr Fung for his devoted service and advice to the AFRC over the years. We congratulate Mr Fung on his judicial appointment and wishes him every success in his new role in serving the wider community.
