CPAs holding Practising Certificates, CPA Firms and Corporate Practices can log in to the AFRC’s Online Application System for:
- annual renewal of practising certificates
- annual renewal of CPA Firm, Corporate Practice and PIE Auditor registrations; and
- application for registration as a Registered PIE Auditor.
2024-25 Oversight Report on HKICPA’s Performance of Specified Functions
This report covers the AFRC’s assessment on Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ performance of specified functions for the assessment period from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025.
The HKICPA has made notable progress in addressing the AFRC’s previous recommendations. However, concerns remain regarding its members’ compliance with continuing professional development requirements. To support continued improvement, the AFRC has recommended enhancing deterrent measures, and enhanced communication.
The report has also outlined five new observations with corresponding recommendations to further strengthen professional standards.
