Manager

Responsibilities

 

  • Handle designated disciplinary cases and analyse multiple sources of information.

  • Consolidate, analyse and consider all documentation and representations of cases referred to the Department.

  • Make assessment and exercise independent judgement as to whether there is sufficient evidence to take disciplinary actions, and recommend the proposed sanctions to the AFRC as appropriate.

  • Recommend to conclude a disciplinary matter by resolution.

  • Implement, review and improve policies and procedures in relation to the disciplinary function.
     

Requirements

 

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree or equivalent. 

  • A Hong Kong Qualified Lawyer.

  • At least 3 years’ post-qualification experience in an administrative or regulatory area, public or commercial litigation, law enforcement or dispute resolution.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills, working effectively in a matrixed environment.

  • Independent, motivated and have a strong desire to develop a long-term career within a regulatory body.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
