Manager (IT Infrastructure)
Responsibilities
Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our on-premises and cloud-based systems and infrastructures, with a strong focus on data centre.
Work with vendor to oversee daily operation of servers (on-premises & cloud) e.g., data centre, cloud platform, office Wi-Fi system, networks, firewall, storage, risk management, and security patch management etc. Implement and enforce infrastructure security controls. Manage endpoint protection, network security, access controls. Support IT audits and compliance.
Govern infrastructure-related changes and handoffs, including production readiness, deployment coordination, incident escalation, vendor transition, and operational acceptance etc.
Establish and maintain a centralised repository for all IT hardware and software assets. Monitor software usage and entitlement to ensure strict compliance with IT policies.
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Design, test and execute robust disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity protocols.
Develop and implement strategic and capacity planning to infrastructure upgrade and expansion projects. Assist implementing cybersecurity's projects i.e., MDR, DLP, ZTNA, SWG, MFA, PAM, CASB, and SOC etc.
Own and support the infrastructure platform for new and existing application systems, covering environment provisioning, connectivity, access control, backup, monitoring, deployment support, and production readiness.
Take accountability for application-related infrastructure components and technical dependencies, with early identification and clear documentation of infrastructure risks, requirements, and constraints.
Lead response to major incidents, ensuring root cause analysis and prevention actions.
Lead the resolution of infrastructure-related issues impacting ongoing application services to ensure operational stability and service continuity.
Manage third-party IT service providers, oversee SLA performance and contract compliance and evaluate infrastructure procurement solutions.
Oversee helpdesk support operations, including service request handling, incident escalation, user support quality, SLA monitoring, end-user training, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of end-user IT support services etc.
Fulfil other responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
Proven work experience of at least 8 years in IT infrastructure.
In-depth knowledge of M365, Azure Cloud services, virtualisation, Windows/Linux servers and on-premises infrastructure.
Strong technical knowledge of network hardware, protocols, and standards.
Experience with systems and network security, databases, and cloud services.
Proof of knowledge and experience in cybersecurity’s project will be an added advantage.
Good communication skills with fluency in both Chinese and English.
